The Simpsons (Poster)

The other (insert amount of time here e.g week) I bought a Simpsons poster.  I took it home and was all “Yay! Let’s put it up right now!” So I did.  Upon closer examination I discovered there were many things in in the wrong place.  For instance, Moe’s is not next to King Toot’s Music Store like it should be and the Kwik-e Mart is on a main street with buildings either side.  In the show, the Kwik-e Mart has nothing either side and has parking out front and therefore cannot be on a main street.  I bought this poster at the Entertainer.  Just thought you all should know.

Boredom…

Is not a nice place. Short post, I’m bored, oh well, who cares?

Neopets

I’m addicted to Neopets, but keep forgetting to feed them.  I’ve got two girls: Aladina123 (a blue Zafara) and Narissa456 (a yellow Flotsam) and at first as soon as they were hungry it was off to the shops.  Now they are dying of hunger and I’m short on Neopoints (Neopets currency).  What’s worse is they sit in the corner and you can see their sad little faces.  It breaks my heart, it really does.

Supernatural

I’m talking about the show here people.  Man, those two are cool!  I dreamt about fighting demons with ‘em last night!  Me and my friend – I stayed over hers – were trying to keep each other awake by arguing of who’s fitter: Sam or Dean.  We were watching it and I turned to her and said “Who’s fitter?”  She said Dean and I said “Sam, no question!”  So everytime she started to look sleepy I whispered “Sam Winchester” which really annoyed her and we spent about an hour going “Sam” “Dean” “Sam” “Dean” “Sam” “Dean” until The Worst Moments of the Jackass MTV 24-hour Takeover came on and we started laughing.  We missed most of the dialouge in Supernatural because we were arguing over them!

Creepy gnome terrorises people in Argentina

I checked this out.  Sooooo fake, but good if you’re up for a cheap laugh!  I showed the vid to my mum and my friend’s mum and the response I got was: “It’s a child in a black witch’s hat!”

Nice!  Once again, I hope this brings us one step closer to saving the human race blah blah blah – see post entitled Saturn’s moon Titan may have a deep, hidden ocean, according to data published in the journal Science.

BTW, the planet is called HD 189733b. Memorise it!

Primary schoolchildren spoilt by their parents can cause disruption in the classroom by repeating manipulative behaviour used at home, a report says.

This is (in my eyes) most definately TRUE!  I see it all around me in class. (BTW, I’m 11!)  The kids whose parents buy them new games 24/7 are the ‘problem kids’.  Two absolutely SHOCKING paragraphs of this article are

It described a mother who celebrated the fact she had been able to get her five-year-old to bed at 1am instead of his previous bedtime of 3am. 

and

It also told of a seven-year-old who smashed up his Playstation in a tantrum, then spent a week pestering his mother until she bought him a new one. 

A five-year-old going to bed at 3 am?  I’m ELEVEN and my bedtime’s NINE-FIFTEEN!  I only EVER stay up that late if I stay over my friend’s houses!  This is a real issue that affects real people.  Good to know the news isn’t all people ranting over telly….

I heard about this.  Can I just say I hope this brings us one step closer to saving the human race in about 5 million years time when the Sun dies and swallows the Earth?

She was in her mid-twenties when this happened, right?  Mid-twenties and married with a kid??!  Live a little, hon!  You’re richer than the Queen now though (or so my scources say…), so that ex-hubby of yours will be kicking himself over you!  It’s over now, and did you really have to tell us something that has nothing to do with why you’re famous?  That is a personal fact!  Celebs, stop telling us about your private life!  Only stupid people avidly follow celebs’ personal lives!  I mean, yes, I know a lot about the wonderful Amy Lee, lead singer of Evanescence, but I don’t know everything!  I know her age, birthday, husband’s name and the fact that she had a sister who died age three.  That’s not much.  That’s only what was on Wikipeadia!  People, I don’t care about J.K. Rowling’s personal life, and neither should you! (Although I do feel sorry for her, what with the suicdal thoughts and all!)

Big whoop.  People are stressing out over something immensly UNIMPORTANT.  People must have known it was going to happen, it was splashed over several newspapers and websites.  So if I was a parent with kids who usually watch Eastenders and I saw that was going to happen, and I was really bothered by it (I’m not), I would prevent them from watching it!  Come on people!  Rant about something decent, like that poor Shannon Matthews girl!
